Patrick Journy

Patrick is the Chief Accounting Officer at Angel Oak Mortgage REIT, Inc. and is responsible for the oversight of the firm’s accounting and tax compliance activities.

Patrick has more than 15 years of experience in accounting and financial roles with over 10 years’ experience in consumer lending. Prior to joining Angel Oak, he was the Chief Financial Officer of JFQ Lending, LLC, a consumer-direct mortgage originator, and Chief Financial Officer of Mortgage Assets Management, LLC, a boutique reverse-mortgage asset manager and servicing oversight entity. Patrick also worked in the financial services assurance practices of Grant Thornton and Ernst &Young.

Patrick holds a Master of Accountancy degree and a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of Mississippi. Patrick is a Certified Public Accountant.
